i filed a valid income tax return and everything yet i did not receive a stimulus check like everyone else. its been 2years.and i am still waiting.

@ Jonathan: Your feeling what a great many other people are feeling as well. Its amazing how frustrating the government is and how it easy it seems to fix things and make things right. That frustration probably has a very direct correlation to the amount of apathy a good majority of Americans feel (or don’t feel in this case) towards towards politics, elections, taxes, policy…you name it.

Its also funny how the waiting doesn’t just end with the government…I feel they way you do just for regular banks. They require you to be on time, astute and precise but when you need something from them…you might as well start your own act of Congress to get an engraved invitation.

PS- I just have to say, please don’t rob a bank. “Heat” (with Robert DiNero and Al Pacino) is one of my most favorite movies but unless you are up against homelessness and the military won’t take you, the risk far outweighs the reward.

Just another way the government enjoys a cruel laugh at the expense of the working class poor. I’m still waiting too, and like all of you, I am in desperate need. Funny how the IRS wants their money by April 15th, and God help you if you don’t have it to them. BUT! They can lolligag at their leisure, and we can do nothing. I absolutely love my country…BUT I DETEST OUR PIECE OF SHIT GOVERNMENT LIKE A SICKNESS. MAYBE I SHOULD JUST GO ROB A BANK, AND GET IT THE EXPRESS WAY?

@ PC – If your son made at least $3,000 dollars last year he should also receive a stimulus check. If not, perhaps you received the $200 for claiming him?

My son works and goes to school he filed his taxes, but he is still living with us and we claim him, we support his schooling. Does he recieve a stimulus check also?

@Lynn: Did you file using software such as TaxAct or TurboTax? I wouldn’t worry about not receiving your check until the deadline passes for you to receive a paper check.

What is going on? I should have received my check May 9th. Direct deposited at that. Then I hear strangers are getting other peoples checks. When and how long am I having to wait for my check?
