I realize that most people are probably kind of put off by the word "taxes" but we think its pretty important to know where your money goes. I think South Carolina has taken over the lead for tobacco production from Virginia so thats why they might be getting a bit of a break for smokes. Kind of interesting. Also, we have a pretty high tax on cigarettes at $2 per 20pk carton! I saw some states as low as 7 cents per pack (South Carolina).
