Purchase Airline Traveler Vouchers to Save On Flights
Remember when airline tickets went up because the price of gas was around $4.00/gallon? Well, yesterday I filled up for $2.58/gallon, but yet airline prices still remain sky high. But don’t worry, we have your back, consider purchasing other customers travel vouchers to save on your next flight.
If you have ever been bumped or delayed, you probably have received some sort of voucher from the airline. These vouchers can range anywhere from $50 off on your next ticket or a completely free roundtrip ticket. I once received a free flight from AirTran after they overbooked my flight, but was never able to use the ticket and basically ate $300. Others like me are facing the same dilemma and are selling their vouchers to those who can actually use them.
You can go to www.ebay.com, www.sell.com, or www.craigslist.org and search for travel vouchers. Typically you will find $50 off vouchers, which will end up costing you around $10—still saving you $40 on your flight. The whole process may seem a little shady, but you’ll find it’s quite safe. Some sellers will even check their vouchers to make sure your dates are not within the airlines blackout dates. The whole transaction can actually take place pretty quickly, because all that is needed to book your flight with the voucher is a key number. Once you pay for the voucher, the seller will email you the Key and you can book your flight online and enter the key at checkout and that’s it.
The next time you’re thinking about traveling, consider buying a voucher and saving a few coins. Have any of you purchased a voucher from another disgruntled traveler? $
