Milk Your Money Maintenance
Man, it would have been real nice if we had made an announcement before we made a bunch of back end maintenance changes huh? Well, unfortunately that’s not always the way it works out.
Problem The issue was, we were getting so much traffic the analytics were having a hard time to keep up. While the site was limping along we decided to go through and do some spring cleaning and the site should run a great deal faster now. Feel free to point anything out that you might see amiss and let the milking continue!

It is…although it was incredibly frustrating trying to nail down where exactly in our database it was backing up. I learned a ton about MySQL and phpMyAdmin in the process as well as about the logging practices for OWA (Open Web Analytics). But it lead to some nice revelations elsewhere as far as upgrading and things like that.
Sounds like a good problem to have.
