Saving money from your daily routine is itself an art which may seem difficult initially. But its not that difficult as it sounds. You will just have to make a bit of extra effort to make it possible. Suggestions for students would be to save a little amount from their pocket money each and everyday. At the end of month that amount would be pretty sufficient. Other than this, they should avoid wasting much outside for expensive lunch, dinner, breakfast or hang outs. A systematic life will definitely help them build a bright future. Nice article though.

Really informative content. I have gone through the trouble so I can understand it pretty well. Paying bills for canteen and pantry or even hot or cold drinks makes the weekly budget out of control. Sometimes out of the blue treats or office celebration also makes it worse. We should keep a control over such expenses.

I have a question about your image? Where did you get it?

I am trying to design a header for my blog and wanted to use this or something similar to it. I want to make sure I'm not infringing on copyrights. Thanks!

dammit, I knew "Make Your Own Coffee" would be #1 on this list. (typing this after sipping the last of my double-latte)

I already do #2 & #3--I just didn't want to make my own espresso in the morning.

To counter Grant's suggestion, all the employers I've worked for recently charge you if you use the office phone. Skype would probably work, though.

Not buying magazines and newspapers is a great way to save money. I'm very guilty of it - I like the feel of a new edition waiting to be read. It's better to just get them all online.

BTW, I'm going to be hosting the new Carnival of Cashflow Consciousness - if you're interested, email me a link to original articles on increasing income and anything related to cashflow investing.

In addition...walk...carpool...use the office phone and not your cell phone minutes...

Think through your schedule and make the necessary changes to save you cash!
